Nina
Nina is one of the few American family run shoe companies around. It all started in 1953 Mike and Stanley Silverstein founded Nina, operating from a loft in New York. It has always been one of the more respected independent companies in the shoe industry. Celebrating 50 years of making fine shoes for women everywhere, Nina is still on top. You just don't see companies such as Nina anymore, respect, pride, and determination has all gone into making this a company who has seen and gone through a lot of periods of style and still came out on top.The Silverstein brothers seemed to have gotten the formula right for making Nina a stylish shoe, as well as giving excellent customer service with each and every pair of shoes Nina manufacturers. When you purchase a pair of Nina shoes you can do so with the knowledge that 50 years of craftsmanship has gone into it, and 50 years of knowing what women want today. These are a few of the things that have kept Nina on top all this time.
Nina offers Nina kids shoes for girls and Max Silver shoes for boys. Both lines are tested through extensive fit-trials to make sure that they not only are stylish, but great-fitting shoes. Many styles are available in an extended range of sizes and widths to insure the best fit.
What materials are Nina Kids shoes made from?
Nina kids shoes are fabricated from premium materials that can absorb moisture. (A child’s foot can perspire about a half a pint of fluid a day. This is normal.) Nina shoes have the ability to absorb the moisture and to expel it overnight. Most Nina Kids shoes are leather. Patent-finish dress shoes and some fashion materials are not leather. Baby, casuals, sandals are not only leather uppers, but leather lined.
How long should kids’ shoes wear?
Children are very active, but they rarely wear out shoes. Typically, they grow out of shoes before they wear them out, even kids who are hard on shoes. As a rule, shoes rarely last longer than 3 to 4 months if they are fitted properly. Too large and the shoe will wear out; if a shoe is too small, foot problems develop. Mothers should check the shoes constantly to assure that the shoes are not too small. Shoes are the only piece of apparel that can actually cause damage to bone structure if too small.
How can I tell if the shoe fits my child?
Shoes should always be fit with a bit of room to grow, as children's feet grow so quickly. Each Nina shoe is made with 3/8 inch grow room built into the size.
